We got 8″-10″ of snow last night. It was our 3rd largest snow fall on record. It was beautiful and magical and unbelievable to see that much snow on our Alabama ground.

So beautiful! I can’t imagine how cool it is there. It is so hot and muggy here and yet half the country seems to be under water, the other half is on fire! (that side is not getting much space on the news though). Talk about extreme weather hey? Wouldn’t it be nice if the weather just evened itself out and all was at peace? Ami, it was rhinestones for eyes and nose and those little pom poms for the mouth. You know Kei, it has to BLING! Jessica, it is very unusual. Kei didn’t see snow from age 3-9! Helena, it isn’t your beautiful beaches but isn’t it pretty? š

It must be truly rare to have back to back storms in AL! We are ready for another foot tomorrow night. The snowblower is gassed up and the wood is stacked. But I am longing for a little sun, warmth and the chance to see my toes again…painted…..in flip flops.
